Job summary

Spring Harbor Hospital, part of MaineHealth, is seeking a Per Diem House Supervisor (RN) in Behavioral Health to lead clinical and administrative operations during specific evening hours. As the senior on duty, you will allocate resources, supervise nursing care, and support safety protocols.

The role requires an RN license, BLS certification, and preference for a BSN. Five years of relevant, psychiatric nursing experience is desired, with some medical-surgical experience also valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the relevant state; BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days.
• Five years of relevant experience preferred; psychiatric nursing experience preferred; one year med-surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior leader on duty, assuming clinical and administrative responsibility during assigned hours.
• Allocate hospital resources and direct patient care as an extension of the senior leadership team and safety officer.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure safe, efficient operations and patient safety across units.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Certification RN-BC preferred.
• Experience: Five years of relevant experience preferred, experience in psychiatric nursing preferred. One year experience of medical surgical clinical experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $50.46to $68.26 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
