Once hired staff may select to continue employment for the 2027 YouthCity summer program.**About the Position:**This role requires teaching in an out-of-school-time setting, program implementation, communication with program staff, data collection and developing strategies to meet and exceed all organizational goals and objectives.The ideal candidate will have a High School graduate or equivalent and be at least 18 years of age. Experience working with school-aged children and middle school age teens, and/or other related experience is preferred.**About the Team:**We are hiring staff to work at all YouthCity locations. Teams of Instructors report to a full-time Senior Community Programs Manager who oversees each location.**Work Schedule:**This position will work 25 hours a week. During the school year, the work hours are Monday – Thursday from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Friday from Noon – 6:00 p.m. During the Summer Program, this position will work 5-hour blocks Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. depending on program necessity.**Position Wage:** $18.00/hr.**IMPORTANT:** Early application submittal is encouraged. Required to push, pull, or lift medium weights. Uncomfortable working positions such as stooping, crouching, and bending.
