Our Hourly Team Member role offers a variety of responsibilities based on your interests:
Food Runner Duties
- Deliver orders to guests and ensure their needs are met
- Refill drinks and respond to guest requests after food delivery
- Adhere to sanitation and safety policies to protect guests and establishment
- Perform additional duties as requested by management
Busser Duties
- Prepare the dining area by cleaning tables and chairs
- Maintain tables by removing finished plates and attending to spills or guest needs
- Clean chairs, tables, floors, and remove trash to maintain cleanliness
- Follow sanitation and safety policies
- Assist with other duties as requested by management
Dishwasher Duties
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and flatware to ensure availability of clean items
- Prepare the dish area and kitchen for the next shift by cleaning and restocking
- Unload and store deliveries as needed
- Sweep and mop floors, especially after spills or breakage
- Take out trash and rinse garbage cans
- Adhere to sanitation and safety policies
- Perform additional duties as requested by manager
Prep Cook Duties
- Prepare foods according to prep lists and manager instructions
- Maintain consistent quality using recipe cards and standards
- Clean and sanitize the station before and after shifts, including light dishwashing
- Follow sanitation and safety policies
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Line Cook Duties
- Maintain food prep areas, surfaces, and utensils
- Manage sanitation, health, and safety standards
- Read and prepare food orders accurately and efficiently
- Clean and restock stations at shift start/end, prepare additional items as needed
- Ensure food quality and quantity meet standards
- Follow sanitation and safety policies
- Other duties as requested by management
This position is at a franchised McAlister’s Deli location.
