Workstream is seeking an Hourly Shift Coordinator to lead a restaurant shift, driving sales and profitability through guest service and operational excellence. You will support the RGM and AM, manage a team of Team Members, and ensure adherence to brand standards and speed of service.

The role emphasizes coaching, inventory checks, and ensuring efficient product prep and service. Evening and weekend availability is required, with opportunities for growth within the restaurant team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• 1–2 years of quick-service restaurant experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work long/irregular shifts as needed for the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Follow cash control and security procedures (e.g., safe counting, cash drawers).
• Maintain inventory with Daily and Weekly inspections.
• Receive inventory truck orders.
• Motivate Team Members to exceed guest expectations with accurate, fast, friendly service in clean surroundings.
• Provide coaching and feedback to increase team performance.
• Set an example by implementing shift plans and driving results.
• Direct efficient preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery within speed guidelines.
• Motivate Team Members across workstations during shifts.
• Review restaurant results to identify successes and improvements.
• Uphold operational and brand standards.
• Perform Team Member duties when necessary.

The Hourly Shift Coordinator (HSC) is the Shift Leader of the restaurant focused on delivering sales and profit results through profitability, guest service, people & operations. The HSC supports the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) and Assistant Manager (AM) in managing the operations during assigned shifts, driving key performance outcomes related to sales, profitability, guest service, and people. The HSC operates under the direction of the RGM and directly manages a shift of Team Members.

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred
• 1-2 years of previous quick-service restaurant experience
• Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, for the proper functioning of the restaurant
