Qualifications

• Educational background includes a High School Diploma and college or technical training or equivalent accounting experience.
• Experience with payroll processing, Excel and interfaced systems in accounting.
• Good written and verbal communication, detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Edit weekly payroll reports and correct errors.
• Transmit payroll in Mill Labor System and to PeopleSoft HR after audits.
• Process weekly vacation and ensure accuracy under union contract.
• Print checks and payroll reports; handle payroll inquiries.
• Assist in month-end closings and related accounting tasks.
