Job summary

Prosper ISD is seeking an Hourly Homebound Teacher for the 2026-2027 program to provide educational services to students unable to attend on-campus classes due to illness or injury. The role is part-time, with an hourly rate of $35 and immediate starting date.

Responsibilities include implementing IEPs/504 plans, coordinating with campus staff, and supporting students in hospital/home settings while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to Prosper ISD policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements/training for subject and level assigned; ESL preferred.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with clear driving history.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of IEPs and 504 Plans.
• Serve multiple campuses with strong organizational skills.
• Participate in General Education, Homebound or ARD meetings for homebound services.
• Collaborate with teachers to provide engaging instruction across disciplines.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records following FERPA.
