Qualifications

• Valid Texas Education Agency teaching certificate with Three semester hour survey course in the education of students with disabilities.
• Three semester hours directly related to teaching students with physical impairments or other health impairments or an appropriate certification as a special education teacher in Texas.
• Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to interact and manage student behavior.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide instruction to eligible students served at home or hospital bedside.
• Students served may be in general education, 504 or special education programs or in a Pregnancy Related Services (PRS) program.
