Job summary

Extended Stay America in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a Team Lead to assist the General Manager in daily hotel operations and drive top-line results while maintaining guest satisfaction. You will oversee staff, enforce brand standards, and support safety, budgeting, and vendor relations at the property.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to train and motivate a team of hourly associates to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Solid English communication with guests and associates.
• Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Ability to train staff on brand standards and procedures.
• Understanding of safety, security, and loss prevention.
• Experience in scheduling and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM in daily hotel operations to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
• Supervise 8–15 hourly associates and promote company initiatives.
• Train associates on brand standards and performance expectations.
• Enforce policies and safety procedures at the property level.
• Monitor guest balances, refunds, and vendor relations.
• Help manage inventory and budgeting to meet EBITDA targets.
• Serve as first contact for guest service issues and escalate when needed.
• Support sales activities to increase occupancy and market presence.
• Perform front desk and housekeeping relief as needed.
