Job summary

Waymore’s Guest House in East Nashville is seeking a PM Engineer on-site to maintain building systems, ensure energy efficiency, and uphold safety codes. This full-time role supports a vibrant hotel environment with a focus on preventative maintenance and responsive repairs.

Responsibilities include HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry tasks, pool service, and refurbishing guest room fixtures. Second shift 3:30 PM–12:00 AM; strong communication and physical ability required; hotel experience

Qualifications

• Vocational schooling, military training, certification and/or experience in building related trades: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Second Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs, climb, stand, and walk as part of duties.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all building systems and the building envelope to keep guests safe.
• Perform preventative maintenance and handle repairs as needed.
• Check electrical systems, HVAC controls, lighting, and minor repairs.
• Service pool operations and maintain logs of requests.
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms; move furniture as required.
• Respond courteously to guest questions and requests to ensure satisfaction.
