Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma, be able to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Heavy work—lift up to 100 lb occasionally, 50 lb frequently.
• Ability to stand for entire shift.
• Able to withstand hot and cold temperatures.
• Good verbal and written communication with guests and staff.
• Multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a warm, friendly demeanor at all times.
• Attend required meetings and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in kitchen, back dock, and utility areas.
• Heavy cleaning of ovens, grills, sinks, walls, floors, and walk-in refrigerators.
• Wash pots, pans, and utensils following sanitation procedures.
• Sweep, mop and wash floors in all food and beverage areas.
• Report shortages of equipment and supplies.
• Operate the dishwashing equipment ensuring thorough cleaning.
• Return clean china, glass, and silver to proper storage locations.
• Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment.
• Attend hotel required meetings and trainings.
• Maintain regular attendance as required by hotel standards.
• Cross-train in other hotel-related areas.
