Strong English communication and customer service are essential. The role requires journeyman experience across electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, plus familiarity with convention AV and intelligent lighting.

Qualifications

  • Journeyman experience in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Experience with convention audio, visual and lighting equipment.
  • Experience with live audio and intelligent lighting.
  • General maintenance skills and basic trades knowledge.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses by regs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections of hotel physical plant and property.
  • Maintain inventories of repairs parts and supplies to support hotel operations.
  • Respond to room calls, pages, and emails regarding electronic systems issues.
  • Maintain logs and records; act as technical liaison across hotel areas.
  • Keep hotel operations at optimum efficiency, safety, and reliability.
  • Document equipment failures and repairs; report low inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with codes and company policies.
