HAMPTON INN TROPICANA LAS VEGAS is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to service and repair hotel mechanical/electrical systems, pool operations, and grounds to uphold property quality and guest safety.

You will perform preventative maintenance, handle HVAC/electrical tasks, and ensure compliance with safety policies while supporting other engineering staff in a fast-paced resort environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
• Ability to identify safety hazards and follow hotel procedures.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems is preferred.
• Proficiency with hand and electric tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions in mechanical or electrical systems throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis.
• Maintains pool area including chemical adjustments and filter cleaning.
• Maintains exterior areas and landscaping for curb appeal.
• Follows safety, security, and emergency procedures.
• Reports unsafe conditions and accidents to supervisor.
