Job summary

Drury Hotels is seeking a part-time Safety & Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for team members, guests, and visitors at 1380 East Sixth Street, Cleveland, OH. You will patrol, monitor cameras and access points, respond to incidents, and coordinate with hotel departments and responders.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills, with a high level of integrity and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to pay attention to detail and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• High integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Exemplifies a +1 Service attitude when engaging with team members and guests.
• Patrols assigned areas to deter unauthorized access and maintains safety.
• Monitors security cameras, access controls, and alarms.
• Responds promptly to security incidents and emergencies.
• Reports and documents incidents accurately and promptly.
• Assists in investigations and maintains records of incidents and inspections.
• Provides directions to visitors and team members.
• Collaborates with hotel leadership, maintenance, front office, and external responders.
• Completes required training and certifications.
