Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Security Officer for a hotel in Novi, MI. The role entails patrolling the property to protect guests, employees, and assets, and maintaining a safe environment during emergencies and routine operations.

The ideal candidate will have good English communication, be able to document incidents clearly, and work flexible shifts in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior law enforcement or military experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a computer, printer, copier, and telephone.
• Ability to listen effectively, speak, read and write English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Spend majority of shift on foot patrol and observe safety risks.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain order calmly.
• Answer security hotline calls and document incident information.
