Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to patrol and safeguard the 540 - Novi Sheraton property in Novi, MI. You will monitor access, respond to incidents, and coordinate with hotel leadership to keep guests and colleagues safe around the clock.

This part-time role requires strong observational skills, clear English communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Training provided, shift flexibility appreciated.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior law enforcement or military experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a computer, printer, copier, and telephone.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Patrol interior and perimeter on foot, identifying safety risks.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with hotel staff calmly.
• Direct guests and employees to safe areas during incidents.
• Answer security lines promptly using pager and radio.
• Maintain knowledge of alarm and life safety systems.
• Document all incidents legibly and accurately.
• Uphold company policies and protect guests and property.
