• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for the duration of the shift.
• Good hearing/vision to monitor emergencies.
• Capable of bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking long distances within the property.
• Able to lift/move up to 150 lbs.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders as needed.

Responsibilities

• Spend majority of shift on foot patrol to observe and identify security or safety risks.
• Maintain order in the hotel and assist guests with door lock problems.
• Coordinate responses to emergencies in a calm, rational manner.
• Respond to undesired conduct or violations of hotel policy as needed.
• Watch for suspicious persons and conduct walk-through observations.
• Answer security telephone and safety hotline calls promptly based on priority.
• Monitor security monitors and report alarms to the supervisor.
• Memorize and monitor life safety systems and building layout.
• Be available to work regularly in accordance with attendance rules.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
