Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a hotel security professional to ensure the safety of guests, employees and property. Responsibilities include patrolling public areas, monitoring surveillance, securing doors, and coordinating safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, plus one year of security and safety experience.
• Must speak fluent English; other languages preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50-100 pounds), stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections to ensure hotel security and safety procedures are followed.
• Patrol assigned areas, monitor cameras, and coordinate towing or access controls.
• Maintain security logs, lost and found, and inventory of guest valuables.
• Investigate loss or safety incidents and document reports for management and authorities.
• Assist in training staff on safety procedures and conduct, and respond to emergencies.
• Escort staff and guests as needed and respond promptly to incidents or requests.
