Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Carolina, Puerto Rico is seeking a Safety and Security Officer to protect guests and staff across an active hotel property. This role requires vigilance, radio discipline, and strong customer service.

You will patrol, handle emergencies, document incidents, and support the guest experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment. A High School diploma and flexible hours are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Flexible hours and long shifts may be required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Use proper radio etiquette at all times.
• Maintain visual contact with the Front Desk/Night Auditor and the front door of the hotel by remaining in the Lobby area when not on property walks.
• Maintain and review daily activity log.
• Maintain confidentiality with respect to guest and employee incidents.
• Assist during medical emergencies and respond to various emergencies.
• Investigate incidents and report accordingly.
• Monitor safety hazards and enforce hotel standards.
• Provide escorts and ensure secure access to restricted areas.
