Hotel Sales Manager - Residence Inn by Marriott, North Conway, NH

We're excited to welcome a new member to our team at the Residence Inn, North Conway, NH with Lafrance Hospitality! We are seeking a passionate Hotel Sales Manager to join our vibrant hotel leadership team.

This is a year-round position.

As our Hotel Sales Manager, you'll play a vital role in shaping our hotel's success. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing sales strategies, securing new accounts, nurturing existing relationships, and executing marketing initiatives—while ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities:
  1. Soliciting group business within different market segments via tele-prospecting and outside sales calls
  2. Maintaining rapport and developing future business with existing contacts
  3. Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients to produce group business, including room sales
  4. Attending networking events and building relationships with local community groups, companies, and trade organizations
  5. Conducting site tours
  6. Maintaining customer database via hotel sales software
  7. Managing group inventory
  8. Developing contracts and following up with customers
  9. Developing and managing the departmental budget and monitoring sales activity to meet profit plans
  10. Developing and executing the annual sales and marketing plan
Minimum Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of prior hotel experience
  • Experience in outside sales calls and prospecting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including Hotel PMS and Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • High sense of urgency in managing client relationships
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
