Job summary

Colwen Hotels in Annapolis is seeking a Dual Sales Manager for Residence Inn and Fairfield Inn by Marriott Annapolis. You will generate new business via direct sales and cold calls, collaborating on strategies to boost occupancy and revenue in a competitive local market.

The role requires energetic sales leadership with hospitality experience, capable of growing accounts, building relationships, and contributing to marketing plans while aligning with brand standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in sales (hospitality)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Familiar with common computer software programs, ability to learn new software programs
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work varied hours

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow business through direct sales and cold calls.
• Grow existing accounts and generate new business to exceed budget and maximize revenue and profits.
• Maintain existing account relationships.
• Formulate sales and marketing strategies for assigned hotel.
• Collaborate with Sales Team, Revenue Management, and Hotel General Manager to maximize profitability and capture group business.
• Assist in training and support of all Sales Associates and ensure performance to brand standards.
• Set sales strategies to achieve property goals for rate and occupancy.
• Assist in creating and executing annual marketing plan.
