Job summary

The role requires 5+ years in sales leadership with strong communication, team leadership, and market-analysis skills, including collaboration with internal teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive bookings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales and marketing leadership in a similar-sized operation preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of sales skills, revenue management, recruitment, supervision, training, and motivation of managers.
• Ability to listen, communicate effectively and maintain diplomacy with internal and external customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct solicitation efforts of the sales staff and oversee rate, date and space commitments for group room sales.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, evaluate, and discipline staff as needed.
• Ensure training programs meet HEI standards and guide staff toward improvement.
• Prepare reports on sales, forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Develop marketing strategies and research market trends to improve potential customers.
