Union Station Curio in St. Louis seeks a Sales Manager to solicit new business and manage guest-focused accounts, driving revenue goals for the property.

The role requires strong sales acumen, ability to analyze data, and excellent English communication. Travel to trade shows and client visits may be required; a college degree (hotel major preferred) and prior hotel sales experience are recommended.

Competenze

• College degree, preferably in hotel management; prior sales experience required.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to analyze data and use a calculator for calculations.

Mansioni

• Solicit new business via HIS reports, outside calls, and cold calls.
• Block rooms accurately using contracts and proposals; use log and reporting tools.
• Maintain relationships with clients and build rapport to drive repeat business.
• Travel locally and out-of-state to attend trade shows and meet potential clients.
• Conduct site inspections and report any maintenance needs to relevant teams.
• Develop knowledge of market trends, competition and customer needs.
