Job summary

Remington Hospitality is seeking a Sales Manager to maximize occupancy and rates by driving aggressive sales efforts in coordination with hotel operations. You will lead outside calls, inside appointments, and direct mail campaigns to generate business and grow room revenue.

You will assist the Director of Sales in creating annual marketing plans, prepare proposals for leads, and manage group bookings from inquiry through to confirmed status.

Responsibilities

• Conduct aggressive sales solicitation through outside calls, appointments, and direct mail.
• Assist DOS in preparing the annual marketing plan and action plans for market segments.
• Send proposals on leads and convert to definite status; send proposals and confirmations promptly.
• Document group requirements and coordinate with catering for follow-up.
• Maintain a sales quota as assigned by the DOS and provide weekly sales call reports.
