Marcus Hotels & Resorts seeks a Sales Coordinator for the Omaha Marriott Downtown District. You will support sales and events through calls, tours, proposals, and event logistics to drive guest experiences and business growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; hospitality or business preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; Marriott systems experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel for outside sales activities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route inbound calls to the sales and events office.
• Conduct hotel site tours and represent the property at industry events and networking opportunities to generate business.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals, contracts, and sales documents accurately and timely.
• Coordinate event details and logistics with clients and internal departments to ensure requirements are met.
• Create and manage event orders, diagrams, and related documentation while meeting deadlines.
• Maintain knowledge of facilities, meeting spaces, capacities, and operations to support clients.
• Assist with internal meetings and special projects as assigned.
• Support guest satisfaction and client retention through follow-up and relationship management.
• Support sales and marketing initiatives, including content creation and adherence to brand standards.
