Responsibilities

• Direct the solicitation efforts of the sales staff, overseeing room sales commitments.
• Supervise development of business plans, budgets, and forecasts; monitor sales progress.
• Develop and present persuasive sales pitches; conduct site inspections for large groups.
• Research travel market trends to inform new marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with Revenue Manager on selling/controls for room sales.
• Organize and attend Sales Department meetings; participate in industry events.
• Train and develop Sales staff; conduct performance reviews and enforce standards.
