Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a Security Officer to promote a safe hotel environment, enforce rules, and investigate incidents involving loss or injury. You will monitor cameras, verify passes at entrances, manage keys, and document events with detailed reports.

The role requires walking patrols, strong communication, and the ability to work with tact. No security certification may be required; bilingual skills are a plus, and hotel experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CCTV operations.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Fluent in English; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to create legible activity/investigative reports.
• Capable of communicating with tact and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Report and document unsafe practices or conditions and recommend corrective action.
• Monitor, document, and report suspicious activity from security cameras.
• Identify visitors at the associate entrance and issue passes.
• Control and account for keys, especially to critical areas.
• Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, violence or property damage and prepare detailed reports.
