Job summary

Homewood Suites Richmond Airport is seeking a Rooms Inspector to be the final checkpoint before guest arrival. You’ll ensure rooms are spotless, stocked, and guest-ready, guiding the housekeeping team to meet high standards.

Roles include coaching attendants, maintaining room status, and supporting the Executive Housekeeper with scheduling and inventory. This is a hands-on role with opportunities for advancement within the hotel group.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure guest readiness.
• Ensure each room has correct linens, supplies, and amenities set up properly.
• Support timely room turnover and update room status in the hotel system.
• Spot maintenance issues and escalate to the appropriate team quickly.
• Provide friendly feedback and coaching to room attendants.
• Assist in training new housekeeping team members.
• Support Executive Housekeeper with scheduling, inventory, and special projects.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions and concerns.
