Primary Responsibilities
- Loading housekeeping carts with supplies
- Turning off electricity (heating/cooling to fan or cool)
- Stripping beds and dropping linens for checked-out rooms
- Turning off lights, stripping beds, and dropping linens immediately for new check-outs
- Cleaning the cart and labeling bottles correctly
- Ensuring rooms are cleaned thoroughly within 25 minutes in a fast-paced environment
- Obtaining supervisor’s signature on work sheets
- Vacuuming and sweeping floors
- Dusting and cleaning surfaces and appliances
- Cleaning bathrooms and removing used amenities
- Inspecting rooms for hazards and damages
- Reporting lost items, maintenance issues, or special room problems
- Preparing rooms for guests and responding to requests
- Maintaining storage and stock levels
- Managing linens and laundry
- Recording room status
- Performing other duties as assigned
Education/Experience
- Previous housekeeping experience required
- Attention to detail
- Customer service experience
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
