Job Description for Room Attendant

Our Room Attendant position is strictly day shift, so no evenings or overnight shifts are required! We partner with Immediate Pay, allowing Team Members to access their wages up to four times every two weeks. If you're interested in joining a great team, we'd love to meet you!

Primary Responsibilities

1. Loading housekeeping carts with all necessary supplies.
2. Turning off all electricity (heating or cooling set to fan or cool setting).
3. Stripping all beds in checked-out rooms and dropping all dirty linens to the laundry before cleaning.
4. Turning off all lights, stripping beds, and dropping linens for new checked-out rooms immediately.
5. Cleaning the cart and ensuring all bottles are correctly labeled.
6. Working in a fast-paced environment to ensure rooms are properly cleaned within 25 minutes.
7. Obtaining the executive housekeeper’s signature on the work assignment sheet.
8. Vacuuming and sweeping carpets and floors.
9. Dusting and cleaning room decorations, appliances, and surfaces.
10. Cleaning showers, tubs, sinks, and bathroom items; removing used guest amenities.
11. Inspecting rooms for safety hazards and equipment conditions; checking for damaged linens.
12. Reporting lost & found articles, maintenance issues, or special room problems to a supervisor.
13. Preparing rooms for guest arrivals and responding to guest requests.
14. Maintaining cleanliness of storage rooms and stocking carts.
15. Removing linens from carts and sending them to laundry.
16. Recording room status on work sheets.
17. Performing other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Must pass drug screening and background check.

• Ability and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
