Job summary

Romas is seeking a Restaurant Server to join our Owatonna location. You will take orders, serve guests, and ensure dining standards are met with courteous, knowledgeable service.

You should have at least two years in a similar role, familiarity with MICROS POS, and a TIPS certification within 30 days of hire. This role requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work a varied schedule, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar position with a full-service hotel or restaurant.
• TIPS training certification required within 30 days of hire date.
• Previous experience with MICROS POS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take orders, retrieve and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic, and meals to guests, courteously and efficiently.
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, and wine list.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by resolving complaints professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas.
• Assist in opening/closing side duties and cash handling per policies.
• Adhere to state liquor regulations and hotel POS procedures.
