Job summary

White Lodging is hiring a Server to join our hotel restaurant and food and beverage team. You will provide high-quality service, engage guests with menu knowledge, and support smooth shift operations across a busy dining room.

Qualifications

• Previous server, restaurant, or food and beverage customer service experience preferred — not required; we will train the right candidate.
• An outgoing, social personality with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service in a hotel restaurant or dining environment.
• Excellent communication and active listening skills — you read the table and respond to guest needs before they have to ask.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality food and beverage service to all guests — creating personal connections through friendly conversation, intuitive menu suggestions, and a warm, engaging dining atmosphere
• Complete all necessary setup, side work, and closing duties to ensure smooth restaurant and food and beverage operations every shift
• Maintain expert knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and garnishes — accurately and confidently answering guest questions about food and drink selections
• Ensure consistent guest satisfaction with food quality, beverage presentation, and overall dining experience from the first course to the final check
• Promote teamwork and contribute to a friendly, safe, and professional hotel restaurant work environment
• Accurately process all payment methods — cash, card, and digital — and complete end-of-shift paperwork and reconciliation
• Maintain a neat, professional personal appearance as a brand ambassador for the hotel and restaurant
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver exemplary hospitality that keeps guests coming back
• Perform other duties as assigned
