The Expediter and Busser assist the Food & Beverage Team in providing customized beverage service to each customer in a friendly, energetic, and timely manner. They are responsible for helping to clean and maintain the bar area. Associates are passionate about guest service, effective communication, and multitasking. A Day in the Life:

• Approach each guest interaction with the goal of exceeding expectations.
• Embody the company culture in daily interactions with guests and colleagues.
• Create an energized bar experience through friendly and personalized service.
• Assist with organization and cleanliness of the bar and restaurant.
• Clean dishes, glassware, and silverware as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and wiping the restaurant and bar areas.
• Stock products as required.
• Ensure the overall look and feel of the hotel, bar, and surroundings are clean and inviting.
• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regularly lift trays of beverages or food weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Organize and deliver hot and cold food efficiently from multiple areas.
• Assist servers and management by bussing, clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables.
• Keep designated expo and bussing areas free of debris and clutter.
• Assist guests with their needs within scope of role.
• Complete side work and closing duties as directed by supervisors or managers.

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Legal ability to serve alcohol in the applicable state/province.
• Knowledge of alcohol service regulations.
• Food safety certification and/or alcohol service training preferred.
• Ability to lift trays weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to foster an energized and friendly bar atmosphere.
• Motivated self-starter attitude.
