Job description

Join us as a Bistro Busser - Reserve at Biltmore

Position: Reserve, working approximately 20 hours per week. Compensation ranges from $16.32 to $20/hour or more, depending on business volume, plus tips.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist servers to provide an exceptional dining experience, including water service during meals and bread and butter service at dinner.
• Reset tables, stock, and maintain all items needed for resets during the shift.
• Help maintain the dining room, side stations, kitchen service areas, dish breakdown area, and service equipment.
• Support leadership, the department, and the company as needed.

Schedule and Availability: Requires weekend and holiday availability with a varying schedule of 1st and 2nd shifts, depending on restaurant volume.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar position, especially in fine dining or upscale restaurants, is preferred.
• Strong commitment to delivering world-class guest service and ability to work effectively as part of a guest-service team.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proactive, able to take initiative, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties:

• Replenish table items, anticipate guest needs, and clear dining areas following restaurant procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of service procedures, standards, and policies.
• Comply with all liquor regulations, including service restrictions.
• Rearrange and clean tables, replenish utensils, and attend to guest spills or needs.
• Close the dining area by cleaning and organizing.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift, carry, push, and pull 25-50 pounds, including carrying large trays above shoulder level.
• Perform physical movements throughout the work shift and work in variable environment conditions.
