Job summary

TPG Hotels & Resorts, Inc. is seeking a reliable Houseperson to maintain cleanliness of lobby, restrooms, and public areas in accordance with brand standards and safety regulations. You will report emergencies and deviations to management and assist in various housekeeping tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include cleaning public spaces, offices, and ensuring supplies are stocked; strong attention to detail and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related role is a plus.
• Attention to detail, thoroughness and knowledge in proper cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently to complete assigned rooms, organize housekeeping carts, and all other assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
• Basic understanding of safety and sanitation practices.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Walk all assigned spaces at beginning and end of shift; remove newspapers, trash, empty ash receptacles and note urgent needs.
• Clean public areas: dusting, polishing, vacuuming, glass cleaning, trash removal; clean public elevators and restrooms; stock supplies.
• Perform quality checks on public area televisions, telephones and lamps.
• Clean offices as assigned.
• Use cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report emergencies, injuries, missing articles, damage, mechanical problems and safety hazards to management.
• Turn in any articles left in public spaces for Lost and Found entry.
• Perform duties of Houseperson, Room Attendant or Laundry Attendant as assigned.
