Job summary

Courtyard Huntsville - University Drive is seeking a Houseperson to keep lobby and public spaces pristine and support the housekeeping team. You will move efficiently through corridors, assist with linens and supplies, and promptly fulfill guest requests to create a welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes physical stamina, flexible scheduling, and teamwork with the Room Attendants. Marriott experien ce is considered a plus, and training will be provided for the right attitude and reliability.

Qualifications

• Warm, friendly personality with guest-focused attitude.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Hotel housekeeping experience valued but not required; attitude matters.

Responsibilities

• Elevate public spaces by keeping lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and fitness areas immaculate and guest-ready.
• Support Room Attendants with heavy lifting, linen handling, and supply transport.
• Respond promptly to guest/front desk requests, delivering amenities to rooms as needed.
• Assist with setup, cleanup, and refresh of meeting rooms and event spaces.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisor or engineering; document accordingly.
