Job summary

Evolution Hospitality is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Engineer for Marquette Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton in downtown Minneapolis. You’ll perform preventative maintenance across hotel systems, respond to work orders, and assist in carpentry, plumbing, and painting as needed.

You’ll prioritize safety, quality, and guest satisfaction, working with team members to keep equipment in top condition and support operations including shuttle duties when required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or related field.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for the state.
• Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on hotel facilities and equipment.
• Repair and service ice machines, HVAC, kitchen gadgets, laundry gear, and pool equipment.
• Respond to work orders and safety alarms; report findings to Front Desk.
• Access restricted areas responsibly with integrity.
• Interact with guests and colleagues, driving safely when needed for business.
