Sheraton Minneapolis Downtown is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee operations, maintenance, and repairs of hotel equipment while supporting guest satisfaction and profitability. The role includes supervising staff, managing the Preventative Maintenance program, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The candidate will coordinate scheduling, review payroll hours, and lead training across departments to uphold brand standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Progressive experience in a hotel or related field with supervisory experience.
• Current trade certifications per local/state regulations.
• Valid driver's license for the applicable state.
• Ability to convey information clearly and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations, maintenance, service and repair of all equipment.
• Manage and participate in the Preventative Maintenance program.
• Supervise hourly Engineering staff and coordinate scheduling.
• Ensure safety standards and fire/safety system inspections.
• Control expenses and maintain equipment warranties and manuals.
• Attend meetings and train staff on safety procedures.
