Inn at Nye Beach is seeking a reliable Houseman to keep the property running smoothly and looking immaculate. You will handle guest requests, deliver linens, and support the housekeeping team while assisting with basic maintenance.

The role involves cleaning public areas, setting up events, and maintaining outdoor spaces. A 1+ year background in hospitality or property maintenance is preferred, with strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Formación

• 1+ years of experience in hospitality or property maintenance preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Assist guests with requests, deliver extra linens and supplies to rooms, and cover shifts or support other departments as needed.
• Keep lobby, hallways, restrooms, event spaces, stairwells, exterior grounds, and dumpster areas clean and presentable.
• Set up and break down furniture and equipment for events and meetings.
• Handle basic minor repairs, swap lightbulbs, rotate mattresses, and report larger maintenance issues to management.
• Maintain outdoor areas by sweeping walkways, watering plants, and restocking supplies and chemicals.

We are looking for a reliable, energetic Houseman to keep our property running smoothly and looking immaculate. In this role, you will play a crucial part in creating a welcoming, stress-free environment for our guests by handling guest requests, keeping public areas spotless, performing basic maintenance, and supporting our housekeeping team.

Requirements

• Respond quickly to guest requests with a friendly attitude. Deliver extra linens and supplies to guest rooms, and cover shifts or support other departments (like laundry and housekeeping) as needed.
• Keep the lobby, hallways, restrooms, event spaces, stairwells, exterior grounds, and dumpster areas clean and presentable.
• Set up and break down furniture and equipment for events and meetings.
• Handle basic minor repairs, swap lightbulbs, rotate mattresses, and shampoo carpets. Report larger maintenance issues to management.
• Maintain outdoor areas by sweeping walkways, watering plants, and pulling weeds. Keep storage closets organized and help restock hotel supplies and chemicals.

Experience

• Experience: 1+ years of experience in hospitality or property maintenance preferred. High school diploma or GED is a plus.
• Sharp Eye for Detail: You take pride in noticing the little things in cleanliness and catch details others might miss.
• Adaptable & Dependable: Flexible to work changing hours, weekends, or shifts based on seasonal demands and occupancy.
• Basic Math Skills: Ability to handle simple calculations for inventory and accurately measure/weigh cleaning chemicals.
• Team Player: Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a safety-first mindset.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for 6 to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and up to 40 lbs occasionally.
• Comfortable bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, carrying, and pushing/pulling heavy carts or furniture.
