Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Payroll Administrator to support hotel payroll operations. You will collect, audit, and verify information to process payroll and facilitate related processes across departments.

The role requires 2+ years in accounting or a related field, a high school diploma, and fluent English. You will handle timekeeping data, ensure compliance with laws, and maintain confidential payroll records daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 2+ years in an accounting or similar role.
• Ability to speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Implement payroll policies and monitor adherence to guidelines.
• Prepare and transmit payroll entries on time; download and edit information from timekeeping system; audit and post entries.
• Prepare reports for hotel management (headcount, overtime, costing) as needed.
• Troubleshoot payroll issues with employees; coordinate with Corporate or payroll vendor as appropriate.
• Enter and update employee information (benefits, hires, terminations, garnishments, direct deposit) timely.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and filing systems.
• Promote teamwork and provide information to department heads regarding payroll.
