Job summary

Yaamava' Resort & Casino at San Manuel in Highland, CA, seeks a Supervisor, Training Hotel under the direction of the Manager, Training Hospitality. The role focuses on developing and delivering brand-standard training for Hotel Operations staff.

You will lead professional development, oversee onboarding, and collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and consistent guest experience while maintaining Forbes training standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Minimum three (3) years of training experience required, preferably in a gaming and/or hospitality environment.
• Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year of Forbes training facilitation strongly preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and progressive, relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Holds responsibility for all aspects of training including facilitating new hire training, incumbent team member training, classroom management and responding to initial team member concerns.
• Oversees new hire orientations, pre-training sessions, and creates schedules for new hire training.
• Tracks new hire progress and provides regular feedback during training.
• Ensures a quality training experience by creating training classes and/or manuals as needed.
• Coordinates with other departments to ensure successful onboarding of new hires into the Hotel Operations department.
• Develops a tracking system to manage training progress for all Hotel Operations team members.
• Assists with the selection of new team members by attending hiring events and job fairs, screening applications, scheduling and conducting interviews.
