Yaamava Resort & Casino at San Manuel is seeking a Supervisor, Training Hotel to lead professional development for Hotel Operations staff. You will manage new hire training, ongoing staff development, and onboarding efforts across departments to ensure a high-quality training experience.

The role requires a degree in a related field, several years of training experience in hospitality or gaming, and supervisory skills, with Forbes training facilitation preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in related field required.
• Minimum three (3) years of training experience required, preferably in a gaming and/or hospitality environment.
• Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year of Forbes training facilitation strongly preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and progressive, relevant, and direct experience may be considered in lieu of education and/or experience requirements.

Responsibilities

• Holds responsibility for all aspects of training including facilitating new hire training, incumbent team member training, classroom management and responding to initial team member concerns.
• Oversees new hire orientations, pre-training sessions, and creates schedules for new hire training. Tracks new hire progress and provides regular feedback during training.
• Ensures training curriculum and materials are up to date with Forbes standards and new methods.
• Develops a tracking system to manage training progress for all Hotel Operations team members.
• Assists with selection of new team members by attending hiring events and conducting interviews.
• Supports creation and implementation of new products, policies, and procedures, revisions as needed.
• Works with Central Scheduling and/or vendors to create training schedules for all Hotel team members.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support department operations.
