Job summary

La Quinta Inn & Suites is seeking a motivated Assistant General Manager to support daily hotel operations and uphold brand standards. This role focuses on leading teams, driving guest satisfaction, and maintaining a positive work environment.

You will help manage front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services, while guiding hiring, scheduling, and performance management to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
• Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service.
• Monitor guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Support hiring, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
• Help manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Oversee inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships.
• Step in as acting General Manager when needed.
