Job summary

New Bedford Harbor Hotel, part of the Lafrance Hospitality family, seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead daily hotel operations and guide front desk, housekeeping, and F&B teams.

You will coach staff, monitor guest satisfaction, respond to guest needs, and drive guest experiences while supporting onboarding and training. This is a full‑time role with weekend and holiday availability.

Qualifications

• Availability and flexibility to work across all hotel departments as operational needs require.
• Solid knowledge of the hotel and hospitality industry, gained through relevant experience and/or training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with guests, employees, vendors, and management.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for departments as assigned by the General Manager
• Monitor and analyze guest satisfaction scores with staff and management; identify opportunities for improvement and strategies to enhance the guest experience
• Ensure guest reviews are responded to promptly and professionally
• Respond promptly and effectively to guest and employee needs, concerns, and requests; assist with food and beverage in the 222 Cafe
• Support onboarding and training of new team members
• Help where needed to maintain smooth hotel operations
