Job summary

High Hotels is seeking an Assistant General Manager for the Courtyard by Marriott in Ewing, NJ. This role oversees all front desk operations and food and beverage, ensuring high quality standards for service, cleanliness and guest experience.

The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years in hotel operations, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple shifts, including weekends and holidays. On-site role with opportunities to influence brand standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in hospitality management preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of hotel operations experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a hotel environment required.
• Experience overseeing front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, or overall hotel operations preferred.
• Ability to coach and develop team members while maintaining guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in selection, training and development of front desk and related staff.
• Oversee front desk operations, reservations, guest folios and problem resolution.
• Manage inventory and supplies for market areas and brand programs.
• Maximize revenue through upselling and using forecast reports.
• Ensure front desk is fully staffed and maintains high service standards.
• Support GM in scheduling, policies, and safety procedures.
