Highgate Hotels is seeking an Assistant General Manager at Residence Inn Salem to focus on profitability through revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction and employee development. You will lead sales efforts, monitor operations, manage budgets, and coach managers to ensure Highgate standards are met.

The role requires 5–6 years of hotel experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and willingness to work long hours, with regular MOD coverage and staff training.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years progressive hotel experience; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Ability to work long hours.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Multitasking and prioritization.
• Maintain a warm, friendly demeanor and guest-service orientation.
• Attend all hotel meetings and trainings; participate in MOD coverage.

Responsabilités

• Play a pivotal role in hotel sales efforts, including calling on top accounts and meeting with clients.
• Tour operating departments daily and adjust operations via department heads.
• Conduct weekly staff meetings and training sessions aligned with Highgate standards.
• Meet financial review dates and corporate programs; hold monthly reviews with department managers.
• Ensure departments meet budgeted productivity and maintain proper accounting procedures.
• Develop managers for advancement through training and company programs.
• Oversee budget processes and ensure service standards are maintained across all departments.
