Job summary

The Courtyard by Marriott in Olathe, KS is seeking an Assistant General Manager to provide direct support to the General Manager and oversee hotel operations. The AGM will guide departments and uphold brand standards and guest service throughout the property.

Qualifications

• Four years of guest service/hotel experience with at least two years in a supervisory capacity.
• Marriott Select Service experience preferred.
• F&B experience preferred.
• Must speak fluent English; additional languages a plus.
• Work schedule may include evenings, holidays and weekends.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure brand standards are maintained across all hotel areas.
• Oversee operation of property departments and guide teams.
• Assist GM with finance, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and banking procedures.
• Review financial statements and performance data to identify improvements.
• Create a safe, energized, and positive work environment.
• Provide excellent guest service and address guest concerns.
