Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott in Basking Ridge, NJ is seeking a Hotel Operations Manager to support the execution of operations across rooms and guest services departments. You will lead staff, strive to improve guest and employee satisfaction, and help maximize department financial performance.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 4 years in guest services or related area, or a 2-year degree with 2 years of experience. Full-time on-site role with bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area.
• Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports the successful execution of hotel operations and staff management across departments.
• Leads team to improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize department financial performance.
• Ensures standards and procedures are followed and supports property goals.
• Performs hourly job functions as needed and communicates goals to staff.
• Interacts with guests professionally and handles guest concerns promptly.
