MainStay Suites is seeking a night auditor to join our hospitality team. You will verify and reconcile financial records, produce reports, and assist guests with reservations and check-ins. A diploma is required, with some college preferred, and overnight availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent from high school is required; some college is desired.
• Outstanding communication and excellent customer service skills are required.
• Previous hotel front desk/night audit experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to work overnight hours and have a flexible schedule.
• Computer proficiency and familiarity with accounting or reservation software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify, audit, and reconcile financial records (room charges, cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, final bill, occupancy percentages).
• Produce and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to hotel management and department heads.
• Assist guests with inquiries, reservations, check-ins, and front office duties; respond to guest complaints.
• Handle bookkeeping and administrative tasks as required.

Our property is seeking a night auditor to join our growing group of hospitality professionals. We provide the training, tools, and the team to help bring your career to the next level.

• Verify, audit, and reconcile all financial records such as room charges, cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, final bill preparation, room charges, and occupancy percentages
• Produce and distribute daily weekly, and monthly reports to hotel management, department heads, and general manager
• Make sure every hotel guest has a pleasant stay
• Perform additional bookkeeping, administrative, and accounting procedures as required
• Respond to inquiries, process reservations and check-ins, delegate housekeeping, security, and service requests, resolve guest complaints, and other front office duties as required
• Outstanding communication skills and excellent customer service skills are required
• Computer proficiency is required; experience with accounting or reservation software is preferred
• Requires a flexible schedule that allows for overnight shift hours
• Diploma or equivalent from high school is required; some college is desired
• Previous hotel front desk, hospitality, guest services, or night audit experience is preferred, but not required

Compensation

$11 - $12 hourly
