Job summary

The Westin Dallas Stonebriar Golf Resort & Spa in Frisco, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Night Audit to join our accounting team. This role focuses on verifying receivables, posting city ledger payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy of daily financial records.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred; hotel experience helpful. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential as you interact with supervisors and guests during night hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred.
• Accounting and Hotel experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to compile facts and figures.
• Ability to operate personal computer and calculator.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Sort and verify accuracy of Night Audit work (primarily receivables), including reconciliation of banquet check extensions and coding.
• Record department administration phone calls and inform Controller of potential concerns.
• Post city ledger payments in the property management system and reconcile accounts.
• Perform follow-up billing and credit collection documentation and inform Controller of potential uncollectible accounts.
• Reconcile credit card backups to General Cashier Summary and inform Controller of discrepancies.
• Maintain logs for all credit cards and ensure proper account coding.
