The role requires deep experience in full-service operations, owner relations, and brand standards, with the ability to manage two properties concurrently, build teams, and drive pre-opening success and citywide convention positioning.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership in large full-service or convention hotels.
• Experience with pre-opening, renovations, and brand certification.
• General Manager or senior executive hotel leadership experience required.
• Marriott experience preferred.
• Proven ability to drive financial performance and guest satisfaction.
• Ability to lead two properties concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-opening and opening of the 700-room Marriott hotel through January 2029.
• Coordinate approvals, procurement, inspections, turnover, and readiness milestones.
• Build pre-opening budget, pro forma, staffing model, and opening team.
• Implement operating systems, brand programs, SOPs, licensing and permits.
• Lead pre-opening sales, marketing, revenue strategy, and citywide convention positioning.
• Guide transition from pre-opening to live operations and first-90-days performance.
• Oversee The Westin Cincinnati renovation and related operations.
